"The SEAL Pro S and Pro C have the professional features to support the needs of any production oriented shop looking to upgrade or expand their finishing departments. Plus, they are cost-effective enough to warrant a serious look from new users with volume print production looking to add profitable finishing services to their arsenal."
Capable of finishing images up to 61 inches wide, at speeds up to 20 feet per minute, the Pro S and C feature high-release silicone rollers, ergonomic touch-pad control panels, manual nip adjustment to 1-1/2 inches, mechanical pressure adjustment to 14.3 lbf/in., and easy-to-use film tensioning. Both machines feature four materials shafts with auto-grip technology. These consist of two, dedicated, cantilevered supply shafts and two of the company's "combi-shaft" units that allow use as supplies or take-ups. A foot switch for hands-free operating, emergency stops and electric eyes round out the general features.
The 62 Pro S features a single top heated roller with temperature adjustment to
284вк F. It can handle a full range of pressure-sensitive operations, as well as heat-activated and heat-assisted mounting and laminating. Double-sided laminating with pressure-sensitive materials can be accomplished in one step, while heat-activated encapsulating can be done in a two step process. The 62 Pro C is a pressure-sensitive only machine offering a complete range of P/S finishing capabilities including mounting, single-sided and double-sided laminating.
The SEAL 62 Pro S and C feature a slightly smaller cabinet design than their Pro D sibling, making them a little easier to access for webbing and maintenance. Seal Graphics also offers the Pro D's swing-up feed table as an option on the S and C models.
