The DriveSwitch™ is the perfect solution for immediate, high-speed access to a system's internal parallel IDE hard drive. The DriveSwitch™ provides an external connector to the internal hard-drive through an electronic switch that is quickly & safely installed in a PC. This connector allows for direct access to and from the internal IDE hard drive eliminating the need to open up the PC for each cloning session. During normal PC operation the DriveSwitch™ is transparent, maintaining the hard-drive connection to the motherboard. However, when the Echo, Echo Plus, Solitaire, Solitaire Turbo or Sonix is connected, the DriveSwitch™ engages the internal hard-drive into Clone Mode, allowing cloning at data transfer rates exceeding 1.8 GB/min. |
