Astatic by CAD Omnidirectional Dynamic Desktop Microphone with Locking Switch The 878HL is a dual impedance, omnidirectional dynamic microphone offering modern styling and features in a rugged Cycolac housing for all industrial and commercial public address and paging applications. A slight rise above 200 Hz gives the 878HL a natural and highly intelligible sound. The 878HL offers a long life DPDT leaf switch with three types of switch activation; a momentary push bar, a locking on/off switch and lift-to-talk operation. The 878HL is manufactured to take abuse and retain its performance and appearance over a long life. Four molded, non-skid, non-marring, permanently resilient shock isolation “feet” are located under the base. The high or low impedance selector switch is located on the bottom of the microphone. The 878HL is supplied with 2.1m (7 ft.) of four conductor, two shielded, cable wired normally open for relay control. If a line-shorting switch function is desired, the 878HL can be easily rewired in the field. Litepanels continues to expand and enhance their formidable LED line with the introduction of the Astra 6X Daylight LED Panel that offers 6x the brightness as the original Daylight 1x1. As in previous versions of the 1x1 form factor, the Astra boasts a stable daylight color balance, 0-100% dimming with negligible color shift and a universal (100-240 VAC) adapter. You can also run on 13-24 VDC batteries with separate purchase of a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plate. The technological advancement and enhancement is evident in the high CRI and significantly increased brightness due to the use of tightly-binned LEDs and fine-tuned TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics, resulting in a longer throw over a wider field. Another addition is the Astra Daylight's Dual Cooling. Choose the fan/convection mode or run silent with the field-replaceable fan off. Astra Soft Bi-Color With its chassis-integrated diffusion, the Litepanels Astra Soft Bi-Color is like having a softbox built into the slim Litepanels Astra profile. The diffusion is designed to all but eliminate the multi-source shadow effect and lend a soft wrap-around aesthetic to your subject while covering a larger, less concentrated area of illumination. Like the rest of the Astra series, the Soft Bi-Color is designed for professional production, with 25% higher output than the previous version and high color fidelity in its full 3200K to 5600K temperature range. Adjustments of color and brightness are stepless all the way through, and the output is flicker-free at all settings. A quiet fan at the rear cools the electronics, and it can be turned off during critical scenes, although the light output will be less while the fan is inactive. The Astra is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100-240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on batteries when AC power is unavailable.
