Because of the uncompressed-only nature of this card, significant resources are consumed by the video transfer even if the audio data is your primary concern. Therefore, the Aurora PipeSDI™ is likely not the best choice for using with audio tools such as Digidesign's ProTools and Motu's Digital Performer. The IgniterX Lite, with it's MJPEG compression, is a more suitable product for audio-focused projects. |
